GSS Flooring Installs High-Performance Resin Floor
We recently completed an exciting project, installing a brand-new resin floor for a client in their triple garage. Our goal was to deliver a durable, seamless, and safe flooring solution perfect for a space like that.
Precision Preparation for Lasting Adhesion
To kick things off, our team used diamond grinders to carefully prepare and “open up” the existing concrete screed floor. This crucial step creates the perfect surface profile, ensuring optimal adhesion for our moisture-tolerant primer. Once both layers of the primer had fully cured, we were ready for the main event!
Seamless, Self-Smoothing Resin Application
We then applied a 3mm layer of Remmers Epoxy PH, a high-quality, three-component, flexible, self-smoothing resin. This advanced material flowed beautifully across the entire area, leaving a perfectly seamless edge right up against the newly fitted skirting boards. The result is a sleek, continuous surface that’s not only aesthetically pleasing but also incredibly hygienic and easy to clean – perfect for a busy garage floor.
Enhanced Protection with Anti-Slip Finish
To provide an extra layer of protection and durability, we finished the flooring system with a matt, anti-slip coating. This not only helps prevent slips and falls but also adds to the overall toughness of the floor, ensuring it stands up to the demands of vehicles and daily use in a triple garage.
